Clara Knox, President

Ms. Knox is a 17 year veteran of the facility service industry. In 1995, she founded QCS Unlimited Inc. where she has held every position in the company from cleaner to management. Because of her background as a wife, mother and Professional Dietitian, she already knew the importance of cleanliness. Ms. Knox’s varied experience and dedication to forever learning has familiarized her with the latest techniques in commercial cleaning. This experience lends itself to QCS’s principal area of interest full service commercial cleaning with a strong emphasis toward government contracting. Ms. Knox received a BS Degree from Fontbonne College in 1979 where she majored in Dietetics and minored in Management. Ms. Knox was the recipient of a Barnes Hospital Dietetic internship and served 12 years as an officer in the United States Army Reserve from 1976 to 1987. Ms. Knox has received her Certified Building Service Executive (CBSE) designation. She serves on numerous committees and was chosen to speak at the national convention of Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) in April 2007. BSCAI is an international association of over 1100 companies in 13 different countries. She lives in Bedford, TX with her husband of thirty five years and they have six children.

Tamara Knox, Vice President

Ms. Knox has over 17 years experience in management with 9 of those years in the facility service industry. Previously she was responsible for the day to day operation of the accounting department for Cingular Wireless. Her responsibilities included general accounting functions as well as employee management. Ms. Knox attended Tarrant County Junior College and Texas Wesleyan University from 1994 to 1998 where she majored in Business Management. Her dedication to learning is evident by the many industry related seminars and national conventions she attends. Ms. Knox played a vital part in QCS being recognized at our national convention for having the best web-site in the small business category in 2006. This award was presented by the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI). Ms. Knox resides in Hurst, TX with her husband.

Shawn Knox, Field Operations Manager

Mr. Knox has over 15 years of experience in the facility service industry. Prior to coming to QCS, he spent 5 years in the United States Army. During his tour of duty his major responsibility was that of supply specialist. In that position, he learned the importance of making sure that his fellow comrades had the proper supplies and equipment to successfully complete their assigned duties. He was responsible for the acquisition, distribution, inventory and maintenance of tactical supplies and equipment for his unit. Mr. Knox brings to QCS his expertise in supply management and acquisition. He has served in several capacities in the QCS organization beginning with cleaner, supervisor, trainer and now Field Operations Manager. His love for innovative new technology as it pertains to chemicals and equipment has kept QCS able to compete with the larger more veteran companies. Mr. Knox has a natural ability to find solutions to technical problems that seem unworkable. He has attended several industry related seminars, is a graduate of Janitor’s University, and is IICRC certified. Mr. Knox lives in Hurst, TX.
